Fellow networking lawyer in Northwest Indiana

The most interesting thing about networking over the social medium is you really get to know some diversified people from all walks of life.  And what better type of person to get to know is a lawyer.  What’s crazier is that it’s a lawyer who blogs in Northwest Indiana about all things legal.  The man behind the blog is Chris Buckley.

On his blog he talks about a lot of varying topics going on in the legal world.  He recently had an interesting article on Nicolas Sord who is up on homicide charges.  He also talks about those annoying Robo-callers and how the goverment is trying to stop them with legislation.

On top of that he also looks at non-legal issues related to being a lawyer.  He recently posted a piece on the marketing side of being a lawyer.  There are lots of great things to be learned here.

As with Chris, I look forward to seeing and meeting with a bunch of people at the next #nwitweetup which will be at BW3′s in Portage on Jan 20th.

    Chris Buckley doesn’t sound like your ordinary Attorney. I like the idea that he puts information out there. I am sure people will call him when they have a need themselves just because he does that. People will feel like they already know him.

    Thanks for the post Richard. It is always nice to meet professionals through the social media marketing craze! It is good to see that not only marketing and sales professionals are using this to build their brands.

    I’ve been reading Chris’ NWI law blog since it’s inception. Chris is clearly knowledgeable about law, but he’s also a fantastic writer. Lets be fair, law can be pretty dry. Chris perspective at least makes it interesting.
