Fellow networkers of Northwest Indiana

One of the first people I want to talk about who’s got me all network crazy in Northwest Indiana is Josh Walker.  He’s an awesome audio engineer up here in Northwest Indiana who has worked with some great bands and has toured all over.  Recently he worked with Etna Green helping them in the recording studio to lay down a bunch of tracks.

For me he is a great person to talk to because he has a lot of experience doing freelance work so he has a wealth of information I can steal…. I mean borrow.  He also has a nice little blog he has put together talking about a wide variety of topics from music to going green.

If you have a chance you should try to meet up with him at any of our local networking events because he is a great person to get to know for his wealth of knowledge that is all over the place.  But really if you are looking for some in Northwest Indiana that is a music producer you can’t go wrong with Josh.

Well this is the first of the cast of characters I’ve met at the local tweetups, and there are a bunch more great ones I’ll be talking about here soon.

    Richard, thanks for the links and background information on Josh, I have spent a fair amount of time in music studios (former life) and can attest to the need for professionals that are abreast of new technologies and have an ear from great production.

    I didn’t know that Josh did that kind of work, and now feel I’ve found a great asset for music production in Northwest Indiana. Thanks again.

    Josh sounds like quite the character and so willing to share his knowledge about, well, everything! As a teeny bopper (sorry, groupee) in my teen years in Southern California, I have always been interested in how music is made. I am starting to put together a future talk show regarding Real Estate in Elkhart County and it sounds like Josh Walker and may be just the place to start my research. I know he is a music producer, but who knows, if he is the jack of all trades he may be up for a new venue! Thanks for the great post, or I wouldn’t have known about him! Well done!

    I have to agree with you Richard – Josh is one heck of a nice guy! I’ve chatted with him a few times and he always has good information to share and is genuinely interested in helping you out in any way you can. I look forward to building a good working relationship with him!

    Nice post about Josh. I met Josh recently at a networking event and talk to him frequently via Twitter as well. He always has helpful feedback whenever I have had technical questions on various subjects. Definitely a good guy to have in your network!

    I have yet to meet Josh, but I am sure he has some great stories that I would like to hear! I have heard his name bantered about a bit as the region expert, so if there is anyone you should talk to, he would be the man!
